KH Yahya Cholil Staquf Terpilih sebagai Ketum PBNU 2021-2026

Bandarlampung, Jurnal9.tv – KH Yahya Cholil Staquf ditetapkan sebagai Ketua Umum Pengurus Besar Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) 2021-2026. Hal itu diputuskan setelah memperoleh suara terbanyak dari Pengurus Wilayah Nahdlatul Ulama (PWNU), Pengurus Cabang Nahdlatul Ulama (PCNU), dan Pengurus Cabang Istimewa Nahdlatul Ulama (PCINU).

Keputusan tersebut ditetapkan pada Sidang Pleno V yang dipimpin Ketua dan Sekretaris Panitia Pengarah Muktamar Ke-34 NU Prof Muhammad Nuh dan H Asrorun Niam Sholeh di Gedung Serba Guna (GSG) Universitas Lampung (Unila) pada Jumat (24/12/2021).

“Kiai Haji Yahya Cholil Staquf ditetapkan sebagai Ketua Umum PBNU masa khidmat 2021,” kata Nuh sembari mengetuk palu.

“Al-Fatihah,” imbuh Ketua PBNU 2015-2021 itu.

Berikut perolehan suara dari beberapa calon. KH Yahya Cholil Staquf memimpin dengan mendapat 337 suara, sedangkan KH Said Aqil Siroj menempati posisi berikutnya dengan mendapat 210 suara. Ada satu suara yang abstains. Artinya, suara yang masuk 548. Total suara tersebut dibacakan Prof M Nuh.

Sebelumnya, pada jumlah perolehan suara di babak pertama, KH Yahya Cholil Staquf memimpin  dengan mendapat 327 suara. Sementara KH Said Aqil Siroj pada posisi berikutnya dengan mendapat 203 suara. Disusul KH As’ad Said Ali mendapat 17 suara.

Perlu diketahui, sehubungan jumlah perolehan suara KH As’ad Said Ali di bawah 99 suara, maka tidak lanjut pada babak pemilihan kedua.

Sebelumnya, di tempat yang sama, pada Kamis (23/12/2021) malam, KH Miftachul Akhyar ditetapkan kembali sebagai Rais ‘Aam PBNU oleh 9 kiai anggota Ahlul Halli wal Aqdi (Ahwa).

Muktamar merupakan forum permusyawaratan tertinggi di NU. Selama 2-3 hari forum ini akan membahas hal-hal strategis terkait persoalan kebangsaan dan keumatan, menghasilkan rekomendasi untuk pemerintah dan masyarakat secara umum, serta menetapkan pemimpin baru untuk masa khidmah berikutnya

Forum yang dibuka secara resmi oleh Presiden Jokowi ini terdiri dari enam sidang komisi, yakni komisi qanuniyah yang membahas persoalan perundang-undangan, komisi maudhu’iyah yang fokus pada isu-isu tematik, komisi waqi’iyah yang fokus pada status hukum fiqih kasus-kasus aktual, komisi organisasi, komisi program, dan komisi rekomendasi.

Di luar forum-forum inti, kemeriahan Muktamar Ke-34 NU tampak dengan diselenggaraknanya pasar rakyat atau bazar, seminar-seminar, dan acara bedah buku di sejumlah titik. Muktamar juga menjadi momen berharga yang dimanfaatkan beberapa komunitas NU untuk menggelar reuni dan pertemuan.
