“Kami pengurus wilayah nggak pernah ikut bicara soal itu (Pilgub). Paling ngomong orang per orang. Saya sendiri sering matur (bicara) pada beberapa kiai di wilayah (PWNU Jatim) kalau kita ini harus jadi orang tua. Cuma kalau punya harapan kan boleh, satu saja yang maju,” kata Wakil Rais PWNU Jatim, KH Ali Maschan Moesa, Senin (18/7/2016).
“Ya mudah-mudahan satu dan menjadi orang pertama (calon gubernur). Kalau sekarang misalnya ada Pak Halim (Iskandar), Gus Ipul (Wagub), mungkin ada juga peluang Ibu Khofifah (Indar Parawansa), ya monggo saja,” kata Pak Ali, sapaan akrabnya.
Untuk menentukan siapa yang berhak maju sebaiknya disurvei siapa yang elektabilitasnya paling tinggi. “Kalau saya realistis, politik membacanya harus begitu. Tapi ini pendapat pribadi,” kata Pengasuh Pesantren Luhur Al-Husna Surabaya ini.
“Saya kalau ngomong dengan pengurus wilayah juga begitu. Kita punya pengalaman dua kali di Pilgub dan NU itu mayoritas. Tidak salah kalau kita berharap orang pertamanya dari NU. Kalau saya matur sama kiai, mboten usah repot-repot, ya disurvei wae. Siapa paling tinggi ya itu yang didukung bareng-bareng dan tinggal mencarikan pasangan di luar NU,” jelasnya.
Menurut guru besar UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya ini, ukuran dalam politik adalah tingkat elektabilitas.
Dia mengaku telah berbicara dengan Ketua PWNU Jatim, KH M Hasan Mutawakkil Alallah kalau para kandidat punya waktu agar diundang untuk membicarakan hal tersebut. “Namanya juga untuk membenahi Jatim, ya monggo diundang bareng-bareng dan tak salah kalau kita punya harapan agar satu saja yang maju,” ungkapnya.
Bagi alumnus pascasarjana Unair ini, politik memang dari awal selalu konflik. Kursi gubernur hanya satu tapi yang menginginkan banyak. Untuk menekan sampai titik nol, jelas tidak mungkin karena itu perlu penyamaan visi.
“Ya mudah-mudahan para kiai nanti ada upaya dadi wong tuwo. Bersama-sama, memilih siapa yang punya peluang, semangat, keinginan, kesempatan, kemampaun dan elektabilitas tinggi. Silakan yang ingin berkhidmat, nggak mencari jabatan karena orang NU mengabdi untuk Jatim, ya monggo. Pengalaman dua kali mudah-mudahan tak terulang lagi,” harapnya.
