Surabaya,Para ahli  medis dan dokter yang tergabung dalam Lembaga Kesehatan Nahdlatul Ulama (LKNU)  Kota Surabaya mempunyai cara tersendiri  dalam meningkatkan kepedulian di bulan suci Ramadhan. Mereka membuka khitanan laser gratis untuk masyarakat Surabaya yang dipusatkan di klinik di Paradise Parisudha Clinic, Surabaya.
Ketua LKNU Kota Surabaya Sukma Sahadewa menjelaskan pihaknya ingin berbagi bersama warga Surabaya melalui kegiatan khitan gratis massal ini guna meningkatkan kepedulian di  bulan Ramadhan. “Kegiatan sosial ini juga sebagai wujud rasa syukur atas nikmat di bulan suci ramadhan,” ujarnya, Selasa (14/6).
Ia menambahkan bahwa kegiatan dilakukan mulai tanggal 13-27 Juni 2016, pukul 08.00-09.00, dan jika ada yang ingin mendaftar bisa menghubungi langsung  di nomor 085649806178/0852336709529.
“Metode khitan yang diberikan kepada masyarakat ini memakai metode laser yang notabennya cepat sembuh dan tidak sakit, karena dengan metode ini tidak terjadi pendarahan dan jahitanya pun bisa langsung jadi kulit (absorpsi) benang langsung diserap oleh kulit tanpa harus dicabut kembali,sehingga kenyamanan dan  kesembuhannya bisa lebih cepat,” tambahnya.
Kegiatan khitan gratis para dokter NU yang tergabung dalam  LKNU Surabaya ini disambut antusias warga Surabaya khususnya disekitar Kecamatan Rungkut Surabaya. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan datangnya para peserta khitan yang bergiliran mendapatkan pelayanan.
Beragam komentar dari para peserta khitan, diantaranya Dendi (12 tahun) salah satu peserta khitan pertama yang di khitan pada hari Selasa 14 Juni,mengatakan sempat ketakutan saat khitan, namun setelah merasakan penanganan khitan laser dirinya tidak merasakan sakit. Hal yang sama juga dirasakan Bima salah satu peserta khitan yang masih kelas 3 Sekolah Dasar yang mengawali khitan dengan rasa ketakutan.
Sementara itu Ketua NU Kota Surabaya Muhibbin Zuhri memberikan apresiasi terhadap kegiatan LKNU ini sebagai kegiatan yang baik dengan harapan agar menjadi agenda rutin dan berkelanjutan.  Ia mengatakan tujuan dari kegiatan khitan adalah perintah Agama Islam selain untuk kesehatan.
