Universitas Islam Malang (UNISMA), perguruan tinggi terbesar milik NU berlokasi di Kota Malang akan menggelar Konser Musik bertajuk Ummi Kulsum of Indonesia Music Concert. Live Konser ini akan digelar pada Rabu, 24 Maret 2021 dan disiarkan langsung TV9 Nusantara mulai 20.00 WIB, menghadirkan Penyanyi Gambus yang sedang ngetop di youtube, Alma Esbeye. Sebagai pesohor milenial, Alma dikenal piawai membawakan lagu-lagu Ummi Kulsum hingga dijuluki Ummi Kulsum of Indonesia.
Rektor Unisma, Prof. Dr Masykuri Bakri, M.Si. menargetkan Unisma dalam usianya ke 40 tahun saat ini sedang ingin menahbiskan dirinya sebagai Kampus Terpercaya Idola Kaum Milenial. Target itu menyusul prestasi di tahun 2020 mampu meraih urutan ke-44 dari total 2.136 perguruan tinggi di Indonesia, naik dari posisi 85 di tahun 2019.
Bahkan di Jatim Unisma sukses masuk jajaran top 10 perguruan tinggi di Jawa Timur bersama kampus negeri seperti Universitas Airlangga, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh November, dan Universitas Brawijaya. Dalam posisi itu, Unisma bahkan berada di atas Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang “Sejak awal kami punya misi luhur menjadikan Unisma sebagai persembahan dari NU untuk Indonesia dan Dunia,” jelasnya.
Selain Alma, Konser Musik itu juga akan menampilkan dua bintang cover musik di youtube idola para milenial lainnya, Dewi Hajar dan Zizi. Keduanya tercatat sebagai mahasiswi aktif di Unisma.
