Nahdlatul Ulama mendukung Pemerintah untuk menetapkan tanggal 1 Juni sebagai Hari Lahir Pancasila. Bukan untuk sekadar memonumenkan Pancasila, tapi sebuah upaya untuk mengekalkan ingatan sejarah masa lalu dan merawatnya sebagai modal masa depan.

Peringatan Harlah Pancasila 1 Juni menjadi peneguhan atas eksistensi Pancasila Sakti dan NKRI Harga Mati. Menjawab dengan tegas bahwa tidak ada satupun yang boleh mengganggu Pancasila dan tidak membiarkan siapapun yang mencoba-coba mengubahnya dengan yang lain.
